Calibration Maintenance Contracts

- Let Q-Interline help you maintain your NIR calibrations.

Q-Interline has more than 25 years experience in calibration development and calibration maintenance making us the perfect choice for maintaining your NIR calibrations.

Just provide us with data from the control samples and we will return with a report on the functionality of your NIR instrument and if needed - new updated calibration models. See an example of a calibration maintenance report here.

The customer provides:
  1. Data to Q-Interline from the NIR instrument (interval toi be agreed upon)
  2. Spectra from NIR analysis (.spc files) and the corresponding chemical reference values.
  3. An excell sheet telling the spectrum name, the chemical values and the origin of the sample.

Q-Interline provides: 

  1. Calculation of Bias adjustments (is the NIR instrument showing too much or too little compared to the chemical values)
  2. Calculation of standard deviations (How accurate is the NIR analysis) 
  3. Compare the results with previous periods
  4. Control chart visually showing the functionality of the NIR instrument
  5. Conclusions on model functionality
  6. New calibrations if needed
  7. Storage of customer data for later une in re-calibrations
  8. Telephone support


Calibration Check / Update / Development

If you recognize one or more of the following situations it could be neccesary to take action in calibration work to get good and robust NIR results:

  1. It has been more than 3 months since you last looked at results from your NIR instrument and compared to chemical results
  2. All your results are showing too high or too low values compared to the chemical reference analysis 
  3. The differences between the NIR results and the chemcal values are higher than expected and you know that NIR used to work before
  4. Some product is always showing bad results
  5. A new product is introduced in the company and you need to verify if you can use existing calibration or you need to do new ones 
  6. More properties are needed to be analysed by NIR. You already have NIR measurements and chemical results but not made the calibration yet
