Q-Interline A/S has received preferred supplier status within the Arla foods group.
Arla Foods was formed in the spring of 2000 following the merger between the Danish MD Foods and the Swedish Arla. The objective of the merger was to enable the company to match the size of its customers, the large, international multiples. Arla Foods is a co-operative owned by approx. 10,600 milk producers in Denmark and Sweden.
The Arla Foods Group is Europe’s second largest dairy company. In the 2004/05 financial year, the Group received 8.4 billion kg milk and a turnover of approx. DKK 46 billion.
Following several years of cooperation, and delivery of at-line and on-line analysis equipment to a number of Arla sites, Q-Interline A/S has as part of a new global agreement with Arla Foods been given status as preferred supplier. “We look forward to work even closer together with the Arla group in areas ranging from milk analysis, NIR equipment and not the least on-line analysis, says MD Anders Larsen as a comment to the new agreement” |
